THE APPLICATION PERIOD FOR THE 2025 NORTHEAST CONNECTICUT EDUCATION FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIPS IS NOW CLOSED.

ALL 2025 APPLICANTS WILL BE NOTIFIED OF THEIR APPLICATION STATUS IN LATE-APRIL.

The 2025 APPLICATION IS CLOSED

The Northeast Connecticut Education Foundation is pleased to offer scholarships for the 2025 - 2026 academic year with the application period open through March 21, 2025. Successful applicants will be notified in late April and scholarships will be awarded on May 7, 2025 at the NCEF’s Scholarship Night.

WHO CAN APPLY

Scholarship applicants MUST be residents of Northeast CT and CT State Quinebaug Valley MUST be their home college. This includes:

  • New*, Returning*, & Select Graduating
  • Self-pay or Financial Aid
  • Tuition Free Students (Formerly known as PACT)
  • Most Scholarships require a GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Applicants should carefully review individual scholarship criteria (PDF)

 

*New/Returning Students include: students who have completed high school or received their GED. Dual Enrolled students are not elligible.

STEP 1: SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION (AVAILABLE ONLINE ONLY)

STEP 2: SIGNATURE PAGES - PERSONAL STATEMENT & REFERENCES

*NOTE – All supporting documents must be submitted in ONE packet NO LATER THAN NOON on Friday, March 21, 2025. Application packets should be submitted at the Student Success Center at CT State Quinebaug Valley’s Danielson Campus. Willimantic students may submit packets at the security desk at CT State Community College Quinebaug Valley’s Willimantic Campus through noon on March 21, 2025.

STEP 3: TRANSCRIPTS

Official transcripts must be submitted. High School students should submit their in-progress transcripts.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

*Only complete if you meet the requirements below*

– All military applicants must provide their DD214.
– All art scholarship applicants must submit a portfolio containing 3 – 5 pieces of original art along with
your supporting documents.
